Privacy Policy — Live Darshan India

Live Darshan India (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is a free devotional app. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is used. The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.

Information we access

• Approximate location (only if you tap “Use my location”): used on your device to show nearby temples. It is not stored on our servers.
• Advertising ID & ad data: the App shows ads via Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising identifier to serve and measure ads.
• App activity / diagnostics: standard, aggregated analytics and crash data provided by Google Play services and the ad SDK, used to keep the App stable.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or any account credentials. Photos you pick in “Create Status” are processed on your device only and are never uploaded by us.

Third-party services

• Google AdMob — advertising. See Google Privacy Policy.
• YouTube — live darshan and reel videos are embedded from public YouTube channels; usage is subject to Google/YouTube’s policies.

Permissions

• Location (optional) — nearby temples.
• Notifications (optional) — aarti reminders for temples you favourite.
• Internet — stream videos, load content and ads.

Children

The App is intended for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data deletion

All your preferences (favourites, language, quiz/vrat progress) are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App removes them. As we do not hold personal data on servers, there is nothing for us to delete.

Changes

We may update this policy; changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
